I think there's something in my genes that makes me act as if I'm years ahead of myself. And not in a good way.
While at my sister's house, my neice was talking about how she left her cell phone in school. I asked her if she was sure it was going to be there tomorrow and if she left in her last period. She laughed and said, 'I don't have periods. I'm in the 3rd grade!'
I don't know what I was thinking. I get mad at my mother for acting like a senior citizen (she's not even 60 yet) and here I am acting as if the school system has changed. Granted it has been many years since l've been in grade school, but the schedule is the same.
How do I remedy this? Does this mean I should go out more?..I don't know. I never know.
